A bouquet that keeps giving after the roses fade

Red and blush-pink roses meet sprays of violet statice — the flower Nepali households hang to dry long after the roses have gone. The result is a fuller, more colorful bouquet than a plain rose wrap, at a friendlier price. It is the everyday-celebration bouquet: exam results, new jobs, Dashain and Tihar visits, or a Saturday surprise.

Why statice is having a moment in Nepal

Statice dries on its own stem without losing color — families in Kathmandu keep last year's bouquet on the shelf as a keepsake. We cut ours fresh from partner growers, so it arrives vivid, not papery. Combined with roses it makes the bouquet look Rs. 1,000 richer than it is.

Flower delivery in Nepal, ordered from anywhere

Inside Ring Road the bouquet arrives same-day if you order before 2 PM, across the valley by the next morning. Nepalis abroad order it just as often — a birthday bouquet for mother in Kathmandu ordered from the USA takes about two minutes at checkout, card message included, international card accepted.
