Question 1

What photos work best for portraits?

Accepted Answer

Clear, well-lit photographs with faces fully visible — the photo you would frame is the photo to send. Our artists confirm whether a photo will work before beginning.

Question 2

How long does a portrait take?

Accepted Answer

3–5 days of drawing after photo approval, depending on detail and size. The exact timeline is confirmed before you pay, with a work-in-progress proof along the way.

Question 3

Do portraits come framed?

Accepted Answer

Canvas portraits arrive framed and ready to hang. Sketch styles arrive protected and ready for the frame of your choosing — sizing is listed on each product page.

Question 4

Can you draw pets?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — pets are family and portrait artists love a good dog, cat or occasionally a very serious goat. Send the clearest photo you have.
